This is just a trial run. I have been leaning more towards the GSXR 750 lately and want to get an idea of what I would get for my 05 SV1000s. It has four thousand miles on it and a brand new tank. Very clean never been dropped.
Fell free to throw some prices out there for me.

I've never seen a black one in person before. I like it with the black frame! I'd want to black out everything else too!!
No idea on pricing. Just like the way it looks.

Thats a yes on the tank recall, just done last month.
I guess I really don't know what I want, I wish there was an option at the dealership so you could lease any model you'd like. This would make it alot easier to find the bike you enjoy most. I love the SV but thats because I only ride mine. I wonder if I'd like the Gixxer or RR or whatever after I spent some time on them.
Bike is sweet in black though!

If you're not too far away, why don't you rent a few bikes you think you might like from Sportbike Rentals (http://www.sportbikerental.com/) - I know it would cost a little bit, but at least you would know what ya want...

I love the look of the black sv1000s, are you still interested in selling? If so, what would you take for it? I sold my SV650S and am interested in getting a 1000.

Something in between $6700 - $6900. Keep in mind unlike others who say they take care of their bikes, I really do! I bought it in May of 05, I had it fully serviced at Alba Action after 600 miles, and have gotten my oil changes at NKB here in Miramar every 900 miles after, lubed the chain every 500, took care of the tank recall even though there was no issue with it, and its been garaged its whole life. Not to mention the FE kit I added last month. Oh and only 3900 miles on it.

Good point.... Yeah that was overkill.... Iv'e had four oil changes and THE BLACK has less than 4000 miles...
