I need the shop manual supplement that covers the SVS. Anyone know where I can get this without having to go out and pay for it? I have looked through the regular manual and as it only covers the SV, and this stuff is all SVS specific, I need that extra piece of the manual.

What's not covered?

The front fairing, the dash, and all the mounting hardware for it. When I crashed, it busted up just about everything and I need the manual to get some part numbers.

That's one thing I like about Kawasaki. You can look up parts on-line.

Oh, if you're like me... have the parts guy double, then tripple check that you are ordering the correct part. I always order at least one major part wrong. Usually I get confused with rr (right rear) and rf (right front)

I don't think you'll find many part numbers in any shop manual. It sounds like you need the microfiche. It's available on svrider.com, in the Tip 'n Tricks section, I believe. It's a bad copy, but I don't know where you can get anything better outside of a dealer, especially for free.

go to bikebandit.com... try using different model years to get the sv to show up... for example it doesn't show up under the 2002 model year

you can get the part numbers off the microfiche copies and the msrp

the back of my service manual has the svs info... it took me a couple of months to find it though... because i didn't see it in the contents section

The manual sections with the 2001 and 2002 SV650S version supplements (47 pages and 27 pages, respectively) are now avaiable in our Downloads (http://www.socalsvriders.com/download.php?op=viewdownload&cid=2) section, chapters 12 and 13.

These are fully text-searchable, and images are excellent in grayscale (instead of the other chapters which has black and white dithered images).

I will be converting the other sections as well. These text-searchable, grayscale pages are smaller in filesizes too!

All downloads are now ONLY available for socalsvriders.com members. You saw it here first!

The rest of the manual redone/rescanned/reconverted, and also available in the Downloads (http://www.socalsvriders.com/download.php) section.

Sure Paul, you put it up after I don't need it anymore. Could have been really helpful a couple months ago! :p You know I'm kidding. Anyway, it does have some good stuff in, thanks.
