i have a HILARIOUS story for you ... i was there ... and ended up talking to "motorcycle guys" ... that at the end of the night finally fessed up to not knowing anything about this forum board ...

at least i didnt have to pay for any drinks .. lmao :lol:

Ok .. here's my story .. enjoy ..

I showed up .. but apparently you all had left (at least the bar area) already .. I was a bit late ..

I walked shark-circled the bar a couple times .. didn't recognize anyone .. so I sat down .. ordered a drink ..

About .. oh I don't know .. two minutes later? .. four guys approached me. One sat to my left, one sat to my right, and the other two stood behind me. Ok .. I can handle my own - but this gave me a tingle. :eek:

I didn't say anything, I did make eye contact with all of them, ya know, letting them know "you don't bother me". Anyway, the one to my right leans in close and with deep voice low says "CurlyQ". So I freak [but in an oh-so-cool-stylish way] say "YES!!" Thinking they are "board" folks that I have never met and they know my ID name from my email or recognize me from my picture plus you can't miss the hair.

So, I start chatting it up with these four guys, and two have bikes, two don't. And I do keep mentioning "the board" and we also talked about other stuff. And we were intro'd with first names, so I never asked ID names, etc.

I'm sure you all know where this is heading ---

One of the guys [this is after about an hour or so] asks for my phone number. I tell him, "It's on my profile on the board - why would you need it?" That is when he says, "What the hell is "this board" you keep mentioning?"

NONE OF THEM WERE FROM THIS BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!! #-o

The one guy called me CurlyQ cuz of my hair.

They just liked me .. and were making a valiant attempt at picking me up. :batlash:

So good points and bad points. Once I realized they weren't any of YOU guys .. I went through Chevy's searching for all of you .. but it was waaaay too late and you were gone. :sad:

Good news .. I didn't spend a penny and I obviously gave four guys a very "happy hour" .. :D

I did ask a waiter to walk me to my car for safety reasons, however. Those dudes were way big and way too interested. And I've yet to try the fivesome. ;)
