T1?

Well 23 megs is 176160768 Bits.. a T1 is 1.54 Megabits per second.
so 176160768 / 1540000 = 114+ seconds. (Very rough)
So even at max bandwidth for a t1 it would still take almost 2 minutes to download. So I am guessing at least T3 speed.. or my home cable that I get around 4-6 megabit on my download when the stars are in alignment.

Ah crap I just noticed he said 21 megs.. oh well it's still pretty close.
Ahhhh, the video's of Mr. Burncycle. Like Guzzigirl, he just recently purchased a TL1000s. On the video with the katuna, I believe he just waved him by to make the video more interesting. Nice twisty road too.

that katuna was gone! I didnt know they performed that decent. Maybe just a good rider, but he was really taching that thing out too.
I'm pretty sure we're on something bigger than T1... DS3? OC3? Who knows...

Heh, not even... A T1 is 1.54M. Most cable modems and biz dsl will beat the pants off a T1, and at a huge savings, too.

And that's assuming that you can actually max out your bandwidth for this download... Which isn't very likely to happen in a shared environment like at work... With all the lusers streaming mp3s and browsing pr0n, you'll never have a shot at the full power of your pipe.
And on top of that you've got the overhead of tcp, ip, and ethernet encapsulation, acknowledgements, resent packets, MTU probably around 512 for generic internet transfers so tack on the possibility of fragmentation... Good luck seeing 1.5M of usable data to your desk.

You want to see a Katana 750 really move then take Jason Pridmore's STAR school. He jets around the track on that thing like a bat out of hell with passengers.
