No...

You get snow every winter, and can expect it to be cold constantly... I remember from Chicago people die every winter from the cold, not to mention the accidents from driving on snow and black ice...

We occasionally get earthquakes (I've felt one in my two years in CA), and they're usually not bad. Even the really bad ones are bad, but probably overall less deadly than the winter, due to their rarity and locality.

So there!!! :p

Winter has it good points, like snowmobiles, and snowboarding,... and the cold , and the winter prep for the bike, and the 5 months of no riding, and .....
 , your point is made bwarbiany, my groin hurts.

i think if i had a couple months of no riding, i'd have one clean machine. i'm a little neglectfull sometimes, cause i'm always riding. reminds me, i gotta go lube the chain.

I noticed more vibration in the pegs, I pulled them and put thin rubber spacers on them (between the peg and the rear set), seems regular now, I did not notice much in the bars, but due to weather here (rain & snow) I didn't push it over 60mph, but I did make a set of bar spacers just in case.

BTW if you have seen Burncycles videos, the pipe is much deeper and louder than it sounds in those (posted them in video section).
Excellent quality and easy install, have not shimmed the cards yet, plan on doing it soon though.

Click on the first movie link of this thread. The bike with the camera filming the R1 behind him has a hole shot pipe.

I have a Holeshot Highmount and love it. The can plus the carb tweaking got rid of the mid range power dip. Sound great in my opinion. Listen to the biek in the video link above.

Hey, I'm new to the board and I'm interested in getting a pipe for my 2002 SV. Where did you purchase yours? I'm looking for something online because I'm in Kansas City.

I have the low mount (stock position) Holeshot on my SV and love it. Installation was an easy deal. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. When I ordered the pipe Holeshot was out of the clamps for day or two and they actually called me on the phone to explain what was going on and when my pipe would ship. Then there was a hand written thank you note on the receipt in the box.

Good product + good instructions + great customer service = repeat customer.

The pipe filled in the power dip between 4k and 7k and sounds bitchen.

I highly recommend this product.

There's my two cents!!
