SCSVR Track Day V?

So, what do you guys think about a fifth SoCalSVRiders.org track day? These things put a lot of stress on the person who's responsible for the money, and it takes more organizing and managing than you'd think, but the end result is always a fun day.

However, couldn't we get the same thing if we just chose a weekend Trackdaz or TI2TT date way ahead of time and say, okay, everyone who wants to go, sign up and we'll see you there? That's what I think we should have done this year and think we should do next year.

Any other opinions?

it would be easier to have an SCSVR invasion rather than organize another however you'll definitely get even less SCSVR people there since it's not really a "special occasion." so depends what you guys as organizers want to get out of it.

kinda OT, i did see a sign for pahrump when i was in vegas, possible to hold a trackday there? there maybe more leeway as far as dates go. maybe i'm just using it as an excuse to go to vegas ;) or hell, vegas speedway? but i heard there's always something going on there and never heard of any non-race days being held there

Since this was my second trackday I had a blast but I would like to attend an all SCSVR track day with SV's only but I guess that will never happen since there are always board members that have excuses or don't ride an SV anymore !!!


Also thinking about pahrump like Stingray but SOW is so close :)

I'm already working w/ Fastrack riders for us to do one of their trackdays at a discount
b/c yeah all that organizing and managing is insane

Do it! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I am dying to get a track day (1st one) in! I have 5 or 6 friends who are definites too. Lemme know if you need help with anything.

Shit this is a no brainer......just pick a day...with Trackdaz and go from there, Reading all the crap and promises to pay that didnt come till the last minute ugggg

Also, I'm up for organizing the annual trackday again if peeps still like having our own day.
There's a catch though - If I take the lead on it, the event has got to be on 9/22 with Trackdaz and at Streets of Willow. I've got a message out to Dustin. What do you guys think?

Ok there will be no Our Own Trackday in 2007.
At this point it's looking like SCSVR invades Fontana on 4/21 and the Streets on 8/25.
