Aww c'mon, what's a little 60kt sidewind? Us desert rats are used to it... have to replace our windshields every few years cause of it...

ZenSandy and I came back from Santa Barbara today down PCH and when we hit Malibu, the wind was blowing - hard. We rode for a bit on the shoulder at about 10 mph. When we stopped near Pepperdine, the wind nearly blew the bike off the sidestand. Unpleasant. Other than that, a fabulous winter bike tour.
