The third Animatrix movie (A Detective Story) is released on its Web site (http://www.intothematrix.com/).
In other Matrix news, it seems "Reloaded" will be premiering at Cannes May 15, with worldwide release May 25.

Badass series of 9 short movies.

There is a wide variety of animation styles and the stories are entertaining.

Since there is a total of 9 movies, each lasting max 10 minutes, if you decide you did'nt like them, it's not like you wasted much of your life watching them.

The first one,(Last flight of the Osyris) has some pretty realistic animation going on.

The rest are good to.:)

DOPE SERIES... i give it a thumbs up, and im no fan of anime...

I like how it fills in the the gaps in the Matrix universe - like how the machines took over. Quality-wise it varies from one story to the next. For $10, it's a good buy.

saw this last night, i liked it

especially the last one...does anyone remember the name of that animated series that was on MTV a while back, about the kick ass spy type chick...ugh, it's killing me i can't remember the name, but the animation in the last bit on animatrix seemed like it may have been done by the same folks, kinda similar styles

oh, and i liked the skater boy one, that kinda reminded me of the wall (at least the chase part)
