Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed watching Keira K talk? It almost seems like she has a slight underbite or she actually speaks with her lower jaw forward a little to try and sound/appear sexier. I can't tell if it's on purpose or not.

you know what, you're right! i've always thought she's a really cute girl, but there's something odd about the way she talks, or something weird looking in her mouth region, and by god i think thats it!

i dont think that it seems like a must see, but ill check it out. on dvd at the very least.

We're dubbing the sound here right now as we speak. Gonna be crazy hours to finish this one. It looks and sounds amazing so far though... Gonna be worth the trip to the theatres... Trust me.

i have to say I'm always going to prefer Johnny Depp... Orlando def. is cute with his lil accent though.. I just never like his characters. I do agree that I've never liked watching Kiera, nor listening to her speak. I've always thought that she tries too hard myself so I'm glad others feel the same way :)

This movie is exhausting. It goes on and on and on, numbingly. I'm not certain I've really stopped watching it yet. There may be a part of me still back in the theater.

It's like a Jerry Sienfield and George Kastanza wrote "A movie about nothing". Then after 2 hours of moderately slow moving plot/action, the director decided that this should be a love story during the only action sequence in the whole movie. Hollywood, please figure out how to make quality movies in a less than 125 minute format.

"Help me Transformers, your my only hope (for a decent summer movie)."

The first one was good, the 2nd one sucked. This one is long (3 hrs). A lot better than the 2nd one for sure, for the most part if flowed well and didn't get too stupid like the 2nd one. I wished there was more action but all the cgi/special effects/scenery stuff made up for that

I liked the 3rd one. It had lots of worthwhile scenes, but dear lord did it drag on forever. It was painful near the end, and some of the action scenes (while visually stunning) didn't contribute at all to the story, and nearing the end they almost made you angry, because you just want them to wrap it up.

It was brutal at points, and completely lacked the happy disney feel of parts if the 2nd, plus it was actually very funny if you paid attention.

I the 3rd one was the best out of all three. I was a bit long but I felt that it had enough substance to keep me interested through the whole movie. At the end i did forget that this was a disney movie.

So far for all the trilogies this summer Pirates had to be the best. Shrek was to gloomy, and spiderman was pointless. pirates came on top of the trilogies of this summer.

Started OK / Ended great!!!!!!!!!!!!
this was long like the other two but this one felt it-
about 20mins too long in the middle I was like enough already with the battling and grossness
the ending (once calypso went bye bye) really saved it for me

I loved how Keira, depp and orlando never really got too dirty and their teeth stayed beautious

I never really much thought of Orlando but he came thru rather studly in this flick

go see it!!! and stay thru the credits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just went today with work to See it at the El Capitan that is the place to go to watch the Movie.. Man I thought it was really good and of course stay for the end of the credits....

Not very impressed. Too many cheesy parts and poor dialogue, imho. There were some good effects but even Johnny didn't do much for me in this one :(

Kiera Knightly might be hot but she still can't act.

And who cares what happens after the credits? It's enough we sat there for 3 hrs. for nothing. Totally disappointing.

The only good parts it the movie was with Johnny Depp, so unless your a Depp freak, which I'm not, don't bother.

I usually sit through the credits anyway, so see if anybody I know worked on a movie, to see which FX houses worked on it, and to avoid all the idiots pushing and shoving to get out of the place. While part of me is glad to see the "end" of the movie, the big part of me is pissed that I even bothered to go and didn't wait for the DVD. Another waste of time. Great FX, pretty seamless compositing throughout, but wtf was going on?
If you watch the Pirates 2 DVD extras, they talk about how they started shooting without a script. The script was still being written with production underway. That seems to be the major failing of this movie. WTF was going on? They should've just called this one The Pirates Reloaded, 'cause I had the same feeling when I watched the first Matrix sequel.

In a good old fashioned butcher shop in England the butcher would hack up some meat for you, wrap it up and grab a pencil from behind his ear to write down the price on the package before putting the pencil back behind his ear and preparing your next order, hence; there is more meat on a butchers pencil than on Kiera Knightly. True, it's gross but would you expect anything else from Malkey... :p

Another scene. And one that really wasn't worth sitting through. It was simply a logical denouement. A beautifully filmed scene, to be sure, but not worth the five or ten minutes of credits. (Although if your name is in those credits, I don't mean to minimize your contribution.)

The movie itself was not what I expected, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Anyone else swoony over the voice of the actor who played Norrington?
