Adams Kart, 1/28/07

Nothing much to write.... I rode some ragged lines and started putting them together towards the end of the day. I still couldn't quite keep up with the guy in the red suit (see following pictures). Sometimes I'd make up ground in a corner, but then more often I lost more ground than I made up, in more corners. :mad: He's in my main class and I need to find out a way to be able to beat him! I know a lot of it is seat time, but there's no way I'll be able to catch up to his seat time right now...

Edit: In the one picture I stopped off the track to make sure the kid was O.K. I didn't run-off of any corners or go down all day!

Wow, man that guy in red is reaallly leaned over:eek: !!Good luck with beating him.

One thing i can say is that I have crashed so many times on my YSR and have seen the minimal damage it does to the bike and myself. There really isnt any fear of going down any more and that makes it easier to push the edge. LOL, Im talking about pushing the "edge" on a YSR. But its a great way to learn corner speeds!

Bonus kart footage added to gallery (two short video clips). I didn't capture it, but the one guy leading in both clips was doing some mean drifting to square off that banked turn. The guy in blue who came by second in one clip was trying to do some mean drifts, then scared the piss out of himself by spinning his kart. HA! He stopped drifting after that.

ahaha. I'll try to remember to let you know when I do a practice day at Grange or Adams. I'm going to try to do them in between the monthly race weekends, such that I'm on the track every two weeks.
