View Full Version : I'm not cured of the SV Virus
Well, I thought I was over my obsession with my sv when it was takin' away from me. After that instance I had considered getting another sv but bought a harley because I had originally rode cruisers before the sv. After having a lot of time to think on this in Afghanistan (also the second hand smoke from the hashish may have come into play) I have decided that when I get back I am getting an sv immediately. I was looking at other sportbikes, but then I was trying to talk a friend into motorcycling and telling him how great the sv was and sold the idea back to myself. Go figure...
Well I missed everyone on this board and not that I ever contributed but it's good to be back.
Here is the evil beast that took my original love from me :(

looks like an empty parking lot! What happened?!
String that guy up...
SV is a good choice...
Interesting that you switched to a Harley. I often think about getting a Sportster - I have wanted one since college.
But, I've ridden them and from a sheer riding standpoint, they are a different ball game.
Stay safe over there and let us know when you get your SV!

I was parked in some white lines on the end of a row and the lady cut the corner too sharp and drug my bike for 10 yards or so.
And a response to Burke saying to string that guy up...lets just say I think she had a good 80lbs on me

Not that I don't like my sporty, it's just going from being able to lean as far as I'm able to only being able to lean as far as the bike is able is more frustrating than I thought. And I'd like to try my hand at the track this summer...

i think a trash company owes you a brand new bike. the driver must not be very good considering the evidence of hot loads on the side of the hopper. (hot load is a trash fire)

Yep, I'm Air Force but I'm over here working with the Army. It's been one hell of a ride. But thankfully I'll be back to the states in less than a month :groove:
Talking to the people that smoke in the parking lot, they said they were surprised she hadn't run any people over yet.
