Well, it finally happened. I went down today. Been riding 2.5 years and this is the first time so I guess that's better than average. I was doing some runs up and down santa suzana off the 118, hit some gravel, rear wheel went out, saved it but ran out of turn so the only thing I could do to keep from going over the cliff was to run it up onto a dirt berm. Bike fell and slid on the right side and I flipped off, and landed on my shoulder. I guess it was a high side. Anyways, nothing broke, just very scratched and scuffed and the front fairing bracket is bent. Still runs perfect and I was able to ride it away for about 15 miles before I got home. Don't have pictures right now, but I will get some soon.
Just lucky it wasn't worse.

i don't know if that was sarcasm or not cuz i know a save would of been having nothing happen, but i'm gonna expect it coming from you as actually being genuine when you put it in perspective. It could of gone much worse especially with the cliff, but thanks you guys for the concern. damn my shoulder hurts....

with pAint, it's never sarcasm. He's too blunt for that :)

Why are these threads always titled "It finally happened"?
To tell if you have a broken collarbone, hold your upper arm against your side and push on a door frame in the backhand direction. If it's broken, it should be excruciating.
Take real care of your shoulder. Mine still has strange little clicks in its movement and I expect it always will.
