Today I shot my 62 mile morning ride into work and after packing it down to about 8 minutes…
This is what I got.

Enjoy

Man, all those brake lights hurt my eyes. It must suck doing that every day. I only have a 15 mile commute and only about 2 miles of that is highway. Lane splitting would get me a ticket here, but I can see why its necessary in SoCal. As much as I envy you for the length of the riding season, its not worth putting up with that congestion. I'll keep my 6-7 month season riding through the back roads of eastern and central Pa. I'll have to get a vidcam setup for my bike so I can take you all on a trip this summer.
This is a cool vid and I want to thank you for posting it.What setup and software did you use to make it? The music works well also.

Man that was way cool. What kind of cam did you use?

Nice video, was that an SV you were following for part of the way ? Looked like the distinctive late-model tail lights.

I'd like to view the lane-splitting part of the video again in normal speed. :)

Thanks.

1# I used "Windows Movie Maker" to put the video together and add the music and everything.... it may not be the best but it was sure easy to figure out and it did what I wanted.

2#the camera is a cannon sd600 with a 2 GB card, I get about 110 minutes of video time.

3#I don't think that was an SV I thought it was a Honda something (I have ridden with that guy/girl a few times before) but I could very well be wrong.

Basil, PM me an email address and I can give you a link to the entire video at normal seed if you would like.

My commute is 17 miles, it takes me usually 20 minutes and I only split on occasion because I hate sitting in ANY traffic.

And I still ride 365, I don't even have a working car.
