I'll be on the mountain tomorrow...

Greetings fellow SV riders,

I'll be heading up to Mt. Palomar tomorrow AM to redo some video sequences from a couple weeks ago(imagine getting home only to find the entire ride was blurry!), and will be hanging out at the turn-out, around 11am-1pm or so, weather permitting.

I'll be taking photographs, and am happy to pass all the originals off to SV forum members for free. (paypal donations accepted if you're *really* impressed with my work).

If you're dressed in tennis shoes and/or aren't wearing gloves / jacket / etc, there will be a special "squidly" payoff amount to ensure I don't post the evidence here for a few laughs... heheh j/k... no... seriously.

So if you see a copper 2K3 hanging out around the turn, make sure you're in your finest form and check back here, I can arrange to deliver the photos to you. PM me for details.

Yeah, weather will be the final decisive factor. I'm definitely headed up there, but who knows what's happening at 4000 feet... all i have to go by is what it's like at sea level! :P

Well I didn't end up getting any pictures today. Conditions on the mountain were extremely windy, so there was a lot of litter around, and a few spots of snowmelt runoff. My buddy and I rode up to Mothers, had a cup of hot soup, rode back down, and then decided to call it.

I do plan on heading up again when I have the time, hopefully the climate will be a little more inviting.

I did get a video of the ride up and down... probably not very exciting because I ride pretty slow, but I'll try to get it up on youtube sometime this week.

Somebody on an SV1K tore past us just as we were heading home... anybody from here?
