Kernville Run, Saturday 3/10

Meet Place:Chevron Station on Tehachapi Blvd, east of town where Hwy 58 crosses over Tehachapi Blvd.


Heading up to the Kernville area Saturday via Caliente-Bodfish Rd.

Any and all are welcome, GREAT road in a great area.

No I don't have the address, if you check a map of Tehachapi just to the East of town Hwy 58 crosses over Tehachapi Bl. it's pretty much right there. There's a motel & resturant there also but not much else, you can't miss it

That was Mojave Mike (on the black Busa), he lives in Cal City.
SteveB was also with us that day (on the other Busa).

Hey..I'm still alive and kickin' !...only started riding again this last week when the weather warmed up.
Sorry, no can do Kernville run...have to work..Sunday is my day off, if I'm lucky...right now they are real busy at Honda.

I peeled off when the road to Kernville met 178. The rest of them were headed back via Bodfish again.

I wish I had seen this earlier. Walker's Basin is one of my favorite rides!! Oh well, maybe next time.

It won't be long before we can ride over Sherman's Pass and into Kernville from the east side of the Sierras. That is another great ride.

This thread was a bad influence on me. Our Cruiser group (Sunday riders) decided to "Visit Walker's Basin" today. Great ride through the backroads from Santa Clarita to Tehachapi and then on to Caliente - Walker's Basin and reverse to home. It was a beautiful ride / day.

I am looking forward to doing this same ride witht he SV folks.

I'll post the rides on Sunday so you can go, I'm looking forward to riding with you again.
