Meet Place: Aliso Viejo Community Park

The trail itself starts at Aliso Wood Canyon Park ( I think), but I'm suggesting we meet at Aliso Viejo Community park. There's a lot more parking there, and if you park at the actual ranger station, there is a small fee to pay. Also, it's a little easier to get in and out of, especially on Sunday, since there is a church near the ranger station.
I couldn't find an address to the park, but it's next to a middle school, and the address there is
111 Park Ave.

There is a gas station nearby. I'll look up the address tonight when I get home. And no Darth Lefty, it isn't a Shell station ;)

Ok, found it. There is a Mobil Station just up the road in a mini mall area. There's also a donut shop, Subway, liquor store, etc in the same plaza. Here's the address

Bah, might as well kill this thread then. Nobody seems interested anyway. Don't want to end up going solo, like Silverrider did a few weeks back.

I wasn't solo. I had the girlfriend bringing up the rear. I like riding out on the San Juan Trail like once a month so I don't mind. If I am driving all of the way up there I am going to ride somewhere long and with a lot of climbing. Have fun this weekend.

It's amazing that we have expensive, fancy, and complicated computers that can't do a simple task like adjusting for daylight savings time, and these things just seem to know exactly when to come back out now that winter is over.

Watch out for guys like this on the trails now that it's spring again.

Oh hell no....that wasn't me that took the pictures. I would have ran away screaming like a little girl at the sight of that thing. The pics were taken in OC last week near Laguna Canyon. The rider tried to get it to move only because there were some vehicles that day and he didn't want it to get hurt. Good for him. Like I said, I would have ran away crying.

Yeah, rode out yesterday (sunday) and I did in fact see one snake. Not a rattler, but still spotted him nonetheless. Had to wave some other riders off so they wouldn't hit him. Great day to ride though. Hope we can all get together out there at some point.
