Pretty sweet track bike, and at 24,700 (euros) a real bargain. It's really nice how they blended the half fairing into the tank.

Guzzi's always drew my attention for their quirkiness, in a good way. But the lack of power combined with wieght made it a tough sell, but they get a 4valve head next year, and that shold liven up the whole package.

actually i've seen those selling here in the states for about $30.... I want one. It would be by no means, the fastest track bike, but its gorgeous!

I think that bike started out life in 2003 or 2004 as a Ghezzi & Brian concept. It drew such attention to the Guzzi brand that they almost HAD to make it. I think they make a few hundred per year now... quite beautiful to look at, I have no idea how it is to ride.

Heres the concept bike from a few years ago, not much has changed... but you can spot the techno-upgrades like radial brakes and such on the new one.

In 2005 Moto-Guzzi offered the MGS-01 and the MGS-01 Corsa. One ws a street legal bike, ie.. muffler and lights... one was a track only machine.. Both were avaliable in the US.. I want both!

The one I saw selling for about $30 was the MGS-01.. The street version.

big +1 to that; exactly why I don't like other half fairings, but never had the thought put to words until now. It must be a bitch to fix if you break it.

Where do you put your knees on that thing? Right on the cylinder heads?

$30 Large for this overweight monstrosity ?

A bargain - I'll assume you're just kidding.

It'd be "cute" (for its sheer eccentricity) to have, if say:

- It's like bike #285 in your "collection".

- You had a garage/museum with 300+ bikes in it.

- You had infinitely deep pockets (you already have 2 F4CCs, Vyrus 985 C3 4V, are on the short list for a street Desmoseidici RR, etc.).
