Hey guys...I'm doing a group buy...I need 3 more people who want a chatterbox straight from the chatterbox factory. I just got off the phone with the rep and talked him down to 225$ for 6 people.

I already have 3 guys...we just need 3 more. I can probably get him even lower if more people are interested.

Anyways...Only serious replies!

i had one of these and it's great for being able to alert those behind you of potential dangers...my only problem with it was that it kept snagging on my leathers when I tried looking through turns. other than that these things are awesome!

The more the better though. This price is awesome guys. I mean...you can ebay one for $239, but your shipping is gonna be the typical ebay 25$ or something. hahah.

If you guys plan on doing group rides (and I suggest you check them out if you haven't yet) these are key for having a good time. The more we have, the safer we are. It's also just nice to be able to talk instead of waiting for a stopsign or something.

So yeah....just let me know your level of intrest in these.

And to Ryan,

what if your tire went flat and you were behind us (as usual) ??? How would you alert us to stop and come tow you home? huh? hahaha:D

Had one in the past ..I ended up taking it off the helmet and used the belt clip..but it was cool when I had one..maybe ....:grin:

They were not new. I paid $175 for the 1st one on Craigslist (I knew it was a bit too high, but I was in a hurry to get one for that newbie ride) and then I saw the other one for $125 so I bought that one also. That 1st day on the newbie ride, it did not work because the mic was way too far from my mouth. I did not know that it had to be practically touching your mouth. I am pretty certain that there is nothing wrong with it. It worked much better the next time I used it with T140 while I was on my SV with the big windshield. I used the other one last weekend while riding the CBR and it did not work any better. I tested them at home with each other and with my Cobra walkie talkies and they both work fine without the wind noise. The wind noise and the VOX really does not get along very well and I am not crazy about having the push to talk button taking up 1/4 of my hand grip. I definitely would say that these radios do not work as well as I would like them to, but they are still much better than having no communication. I have not tried it with the wind sock on the mic yet and Deadstiff had mentioned that it is really important. I will try them both on Sundays ride with the wind sock and see if they work any better.

i am interested in starting back up this group buy. however, i think i am most interested in the X2 model (to keep cost as low as possible).

i tentatively have four people interested... if we really only need 6 to make a good deal... then PM / Email me. if you are interested. i am thinking that i would like to act on this w/in two weeks (today is Apr.2)

Heads up guys...I have two brand new X2's for sale. 195$ each. I went ahead and did a group buy....by myself haha. The others are all SOLD. These are the last two.

I just got mine hooked up yesterday and they work great. I don't understand what all the fuss is with the VOX thing. It works great.

Anyways...yeah...let me know who wants one or both and I'll ship em out to ya. Thanks!
