Two topics:

One What is your Favorite motorcycle video game and for what platform (PC, ps2, xcrapx, gamecube etc..)

Second question is what is your favorite motorcycle movie and what are you thoughts on the old movie called cyclone and the fairings on that baby.

I guess I start:

Game:
Road Rage, PC

Movie:
Duh, Cyclone (for sentimental value, and the shock value of a bike looking so cool at that time 1987)

it's not a motorcycle game, but grand theft auto vice city takes the cake. drive, shoot, wheelie, shoot, stoppie, shoot. it kicks ass.

excitebike was sooo much fun. You build your own track and go race. Fall off and the little bastard starts running to pick up his bike. RUN YOU LITTLE TURD! RUN! YOUR LOSING TIME!:D

Yeah Excite Bike was the best. No other bike video game has been able to match it's fun factor, IMO.

Dude excite bike rocks, TIFSO, I used to yell at the guy too. I used to make some of the craziest tracks and you can't forget the music, doot doot doot doot doot doo doo (with rythim) :p

BTW, movie with motorcycle: TOP GUN, more of a jet flick but Maverick does ride one and makes out with Kelly McGillis in right by the harbour in SD on it.

Games- the original Road Rash for the Sega Genesis. Excitebike and Vice City are both great, too.

Movies- nothing good comes to mind...

There is a new game coming out that allows you to race bikes vs. cars on city streets. Midnight Club 2. Same people that made grand theft auto, so it should be sweet.

I like Motocross Madness 2 and Superbike 2001 (both for PC). I have a demo of MotoGP 2 that I downloaded, but can't find the full version.

As far as movies go... is there any question.... On Any Sunday!

Game: MotoGP for XBOX

Movie: On Any Sunday and of course FLED for those 996 bikes and the whole "wait that says 999 and there is no 999, the money must be IN THE BIKE!!!! "
HAR HAR...I think I screwed up the details but you get the idea.

But Ultimately:
What got me into riding bikes? MI2 with the final Triumph bike chase. I was sold. Got my permit 2 weeks later.

I'm 29, and I've never seen it. Doesn't even sound familiar...

IMDB lists it, but they don't have a poster/cover shot.

You're 29! I thought you were in college.

Anyway, I've never heard of that movie either and I'm old enough to remember seeing the Empire Strikes Back.

Hey, I saw Star Wars in the theatre when it came out, and it only cost $2.50 for the ticket. Talk about old.... Why, I remember when bikes had TWO SHOCKS on the back!

Hey, who says I can't be 29 and in college? I'm on the 15 year associate's degree plan.

I remember seeing Star Wars...at a drive-in, too. I also remember falling asleep about half way through.

It is an old movie, if you haven't seen it its no big deal, I just liked how they beefed up the bike in that movie, which included VERY VERY cool fairings that covered the entire bike, even the tires... And I also remember seeing StarWars, probably when it was first released in Russia. Walking in snow and in -30'C temperacture, not fun, but MAN IT WAS WORTH IT!!@@!
