Me and my SV in San Luis Obispo (sp?)
Lee and I made a stop for gas, a beverage and for me an apple.
We went thru this and many other beautiful towns on our ride to/from Monterey and San Diego.

Another fine Suzuki creation - the VStrom
All the manufacturers except Guzzi were there, we spent the most time at the Suzuki tent of course.

ooo la la... nice pics! Got more? Create a new album in the Gallery (http://www.socalsvriders.com/gallery) public album :)

So how was the ride there? Heard it was really hot (like 95 at night, 115 during the day). Was the whole thing worth it?

Yates is probably my favorite rider. So....... is he a nice guy in person?

:D

That is pretty much it for pics.
The ride was bitchin. Hot once you left the coast. Took 10.5hrs up and 10hrs back including the various gas, strectch and food stops. The coast was a bit foggy up there but still the roads were great.
I have been going everyyear and still dig it. It is expensive but it's worth it to me. every year is a different experience
Last years attendence was something like 93,000, there were definitely less folks there this year probably b/c of the cost, though more seemed to do the parade lap.

I didn't chat with Nicky, Eric, James Toseland or Reuben, but did with Aaron. He was cool respectful lowkey kinda dude. If only he wasn't married with kids....

groovy............... that's good to know about Yates. That's how he comes off on TV also. I tend to favor the low key down to earth kind of guy........

..............not in that way, ofcourse...........eh hem......

being such a wild card, he's also fun to watch.

wonder if he has a sister?..............hmmm........

:D
