off topic, but who or what adds the qoutes to our posts? I'm kinda new to this site, and when I read my posts, it was kinda eerrie.

Just click on the "Quote" button shown in each posting. Or copy what you want to the clipboard and then click the Quote button on the post reply page, where you'd paste it.

no- what I mean is that it automatically does it after youre done typing yoor post. I finished and submitted my post with no qoutes, and when I checked it 5 min later, it had qoutes in it.

In that case, MrPython is right. Paul (linp) is the moderator and probably thought clarification was needed.

Your friendly mod robot thought it's easier to follow since, by default, that post is on a new page. Heh, seems automagically, doesn't it? Sometimes robot fixes glaring typos too. Now that's cleared up, these are going in the "Website issues" forum.

I've been trying to edit my original post here:

But when i edit it for some reason it updates it fine at first, but then when i reload the page the updates are gone?!

seems to be ok now, but my first 4 tries didn't update for some reason....

Looks like it's working to me... try holding the Ctrl key down when you hit the refresh button, it might be pulling an old copy out of your cache.

You were probably editing it the same time I was. I added links to each bike night threads, and deleted some redundant info (ie, San Diego bike night is in Mira Mesa where Starbucks and Jamba Juice is. They are not separate.).

So who are the admins and moderators on this board?? I know that obviously Paul is the lord,but who else has webmaster privilege? ie- Monte can reboot if the site takes a dump.
