Chris and I were actually talking about SocalSV a few days ago, I had said I had all but given up on it ever coming back. The funny thing is the only reason I found out tonight that it was back is because I accidently clicked on the bookmark, meant to goto another site... lol

I've missed this site. Instead of following all those meaningless threads filled with inuendos and insider jokes, I had nothing to do but work (and search for free porn sites). Neither of those compare to this place.
I'm just happy to get access to all the race reports now. After 5 months of racing, reading those reports is pretty fucking cool. :)

I'm sure we lost quite a few people in the transition, but the site was getting kinda too big anyways.
The socalsv site was good, but this place has more historical threads for people to find info.
Bought a Duc and joined Duc sites, but kept the SV anyways. Finally I can start riding the SV again.

glad to have the site back up !!! Had to sell the SV because of hip problems and ended up buying a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, still looking to the day I can actually get on a bike again and enjoy it rather then being in pain...

I bought an SV to race. Then I put a KTM supermoto body kit on it. I will now race WSMC, write race reports, and win the SCSVR contigency bucks! I think...I'm forgetting something...

Without you guys I had no choice but to watch "Superbikes" on the Speed channel. It makes me feel as if I had just slept with my own sister...satisfied but shameful at the same time.

I actually created my own wreck while SoCalSV was down. I only discovered the site had crashed like I did when I went to look for new parts.
So now I can fix my bike and ride again! Who has parts for sale?

Although I must say that I now have a lot more respect for those who direct porn. Without a good director, it's just one swollen sack emptying into another.

I sure missed clicking the link. I'd pretty much given up on it... The bad part of it was that I'd tell friends, " It's posted on socalsvriders.org. They've got all the info on there," before realizing that its NOT there because there's no site for a reference anymore!!

Damn it has been a long hard winter up here. Longest ever that I have not been able to ride from November to April 6 because of the mounds of snow. And not being able to live vicariously through you bastards in your year round riding temperatures was killing me.
I couldn't mod anything over the winter without the plethora of knowledge available on this site. lolol Glad it's up again. Let the name calling and bitch slapping start all over again

Is it a prerequisite to go on group rides? Personally, I've met a good few people from this site, including a very good friend (he's English, but we're not all perfect). I just don't like the idea of group rides. Maybe I'm not all that friendly a person.
