I plan on coming out...either Sat or Sun.

I would like to see Hodgson run well but am getting to the point where I don't really care. I could be wrong, but it seems to me nobody busts their ass quite as much as Spies and Mladin. I think that is one of those things you only notice in person at the races...who is REALLY gettin on the gas hard. Still bitter that Miggy doesn't just call it a career and let Josh Hayes take the reins.

So how was it out there? Warm and breezy, huh? The races were pretty good by AMA standards. .011 for the win in Sunday's SBK!!! Jesus, that was exciting to watch on TV. The supersport race was really good too. I've read that the Xtreme race came down to the wire and the Superstock race was close, too.

You think Infineon will be that close? I think Spies has the advantage at that track over MM. With the supersport/stock classes it's a toss-up. A Honda will win Xtreme again.

Sunday was so windy but at least it felt a little cooler. We were in the bleachers by turn 11(?) - my eyes were so red from the wind and race fuel fumes lol. Couldn't see the finish so I missed that drama but watched it later on speedtv.com.

Was it me or did the place seem empty? Read the interviews on superbikeplanet with the DMG guys and the Honda exec. Weird future ahead, but hopefully it will be more competitive. How many consecutive race wins have been taken by Mladin or Spies - something like 2+ seasons' worth?

I will go next year to see the new format. As much as I enjoyed the F/X class and the diverse field, Superbike had the buzz during the weekend. Next years Superbike is supposed to be like the F/X class. The "literbikes" will be the old Superbike and I'm sure will be the class with the most excitement. lots more photos to come

I was there on Saturday and the Xtreme race was awesome. Saw the superbike race 2 on speed and that was awesome too. Just wish there was more competition besides the Suzukis. Saturday was flipping hot and windy. I was nice and burned after a couple of hours in the sun. The supermoto races were fun to watch despite a boring course. The kid races were more exciting to watch than superbike race 1.

Yeah I really had a great time too... to be there in person you really see how much harder Mladin and Spies are pushing their bikes. Those guys are at a completely different level. Its nuts. I was a little bummed to see Yates throw it away. I really want Jordan Suzuki to do well, they are good people.

I was absolutely convinced there would be a pileup in the first couple of turns in Supersport, because every year there is! And I wasn't disappointed... I hope no one was hurt though, as there was some ambulance action. Those guys are more nuts than the superbike class.

It was hot, windy and WTF, no jumbotrons.... but I had a great time.

I hope no one was hurt though, as there was some ambulance action.

T. Hayden dislocated his ankle in the crash and Cardines broke his femur. Apparently Cardines lost his brakes going into turn 5 which caused the crash. He and Steve Rapp made contact going through turn 4 so they think Cardines might have gotten a little wiggle out of the front end that pushed the pads back into the calipers. Sucky.

Lousy place to see a race

No joke. That's why I don't bother to go.
