So I just saw that a WSMC racer has put together a company to rent out spec Ninja 250's for racing at Willow. $250 for a race day with tires and gas included is a pretty darn good deal. I think I would like to give it a go one race for sure. I'm pretty sure with a field of 8-12 bikes all putting out almost identicial HP, it should make for good and pretty fun racing throughout the pack.

Having raced a 50HP EX500 and a 80HP SV, I will say that HP doesn't make a difference in fun, it's all about having someone else to race against. In fact a slightly slower bike might be argued to be a little more fun.

Check it out and make some plans!

There's an 8 hour endurance race happening at Grange on May 30 or May 31 (something like that). Entry deadline is April 30.

Rental NSR50Rs are available, and if you man up a typically sized 4-person team, you can race all inclusive (race fees, bike rental, everything) for under $140. (Bike rental is $250.)

This is the first event of it's kind: www.cmrraendurance.com

(P.S. I'm not responsible for running or disseminating marketing for this event, and I'm actually not even participating in it.)
