Sheriff out in force at Paly

I haven't posted up in a long while but I thought I would give everyone a heads up. There were 30 or more Sheriff cars on the road that connects the bottom of the fast side to the bottom of the tight side and also on the road leading up to the tight side if you're coming from Valley Center. They were there because the Mongols biker gang is camped out at the La Jolla Indian reservation. The cops all had their guns drawn and other weapons at the ready in case any crap got started between this gang and the Hell's Angels. So if you're heading up there tomorrow you might want to take it really easy.

Yeah it was bizarre. Every couple miles or so there would be like 5 cop cars parked together. I saw a couple groups on the road in addition to a helicopter overhead. There were groups on the s6 too. At rincon, a group was standing there with rifles in hand!! Crazy. Looks like they impounded a cruiser.

They were out in SD yesterday too. I passed a CHP cruiser on Otay Lakes; he actually turned around and tailed my all the way back into town.

Without a doubt, it's one of my favorite places to ride, and it usually has very little police presence. That's why so many of us go there.
