There sure are a lot of FNG's out there! We are up to 90 - that's NINETY - registered peeps!! And they are not all lurkers! Woo hoo! Is this a great community or what??

Has everyone been passing out their biz cards? How're people finding us now? Link from SVRider.com? Personal invite? I know that I usually send an email to people on the other boards if it seems like they are SoCal...

Oh, our club will be listed starting in August's issue Friction Zone as well. The Recommend Us (http://www.socalsvriders.com/friend.php) thing on the homepage makes it easier to email other SV-ers about this site.

Thanks guys for spreading the word! What's FNG btw?

Great idea Paul, the Friction Zone thing. I was just reading a copy the other day, and thinking "We should be on this list of organizations, I wonder if Paul or someone will hook it up?" And you did, of course. Sweet. :cool:

Did y'all notice we set a new record for number of simultaneous folks on the site today? 24 people online on 07-25-2002 at 10:01AM. We're on a steady climb.

...well with the group becoming more active...I could see where we could start getting some shops to give us like 10% club discounts and stuff? Maybe we could start posting some product reviews and get some free schwag? Maybe we could organize some kind of charity ride? Maybe we could get Suzuki to invite us to some new model intro's? Maybe free admission to club members for the motorcycle show in Long Beach? Maybe 1/2 off lap dances for mentioning SoCal SV Riders...whoa, oops...never mind...:o
