For anyone who loves the espionage genre and kinda misses the intrigue of the Cold War, you'll love this movie.

It's somewhat predictable, but oh so much fun! There aren't many twists and turns in the story or the plot, but again it's fun. Just one of those movies that you watch to enjoy and not to think.

The female lead is sexy, but not "out of your league" sexy and Matt Damon is actually fairly good as an action hero.

As a matinee it's an A+
As an evening film it's a B+

I was so looking forward to this movie, but I was a bit disappointed. I hated the girl...but I thought Matt Damon did a good job. Stunts were pretty good, though some of the story was a bit cheesy. The much-touted car chase was not up to French Connection or Ronin standards either. But it was a decent start to what could be a good franchise....

Total page-turner actually... About 600 pages and I just didn't put it down, finished it in a day...

There was a made for TV miniseries (when I was a Kid) that kicked ass, I always said I hoped they would remake it. So I was happy when the Long Kiss Goodnight came out

Dude, its all about Lola... I miss her red hair, though.

And the character they described in the book seemed a lot different than the character in the movie...
