For Sale: Knurled Aluminum Shifter Peg $20

Okay, based on that shift lever shown somewhere around this site (http://www.socalsvriders.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=2729#post2729), I'm putting in my order for me and Gregg (you can pay me upon delivery)... Does anyone else need it? It's $20 and looks (http://www.strappe.com/pics/SV_lever.jpg) really nice.

I got the bike up and running with a suzuki lever, but it'd be good to get one of these for cheap and have it ready as a backup. Yeah...I am the most pesimistic person you'll ever meet. =)

I really appreciate the offer for rejet, but can we put that off until I figure out what I'm doing for an exhaust? I'd rather just do this once if possible. =) Are you a beer drinking man? What's the propper ettiquite for jetting lessons? A 12 pack? A case? =)

After two years of riding without a shift peg, I think it's about time to get one...

Some of you remember the knurled aluminum peg that was available from my buddy in NorCal... It's $20 (don't have a picture handy).

I'm dropping a check in the mail tomorrow morning, so if you want one as well, let me know and we'll save on shipping. I plan on putting it on at the gathering, so I can deliver it there.

I don't know if you'd be able to safely bend that back, actually... Mine's not nearly bent as bad, so I'm going to give it a whirl...

Rod, I have yours finished.... it's not knurled but it is grooved. Came out pretty good.

I also have a spare shifter coming back to me from Kurt. I gave it to him when he dropped his bike. Since they are totalling the bike then they won't need a good shifter on it. :D

Not too late... No worries...

Actually, he's modified the design of it, so that if you fall, the toe peg will break not the rest of the shifter. A lot of people had requested that since at least at that point, you can still shift without the toe peg (as I've proved for the last 2 years)...
