I got this from the Norcal Mailing list I'm on ... (not the big one, a smaller one) ...
----
Yesterday, I attended the Doc Wong safety seminar at Alice's
Restaurant. A day filled with motorcycles and friends. I'm sad to
report that we lost one of our finest in an unfortunate accident
yesterday afternoon.
Ruth Green, loving wife of Brad Green died in a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon. She was riding with Brad after going from Alice's on a ride to San Gregorio and then to where they were married, near Memorial Park on Pescadero Road and Ruth slid on some debris on the ground and left the roadway hitting a tree. Brad was behind her and she died in his arms.
Brad owns and runs Circle Jerk Racing in Castro Valley, and lives in
Hayward. He called me and asked me to relay this sad news to our motorcyclist enthusiast fraternity. I was fortunate to talk with Ruth yesterday at Alice's in the afternoon. She was bubbly and happy as she always was, and this is a very personal tragedy for me as Ruth was so very enthusiastic, loving and full of life and I will miss her terribly as we all will I'm sure.
Brad will let me know any further information, he wasn't in very good shape when we talked this morning.
Woz...
