Does anyone here know how to do this. What special tools do I need?

Would appreciate directions or advices in any shape or form.

You need a special tool called a "chain changer". Basically, you take your old chain off, then use the chain changer to put your new one on. Easy as pie!

(Make sure you don't forget to jiggle the mokelshifter though first or you'll be screwed!)

HTH!! :D :clown:

If it has a master link, (Not endless link), then just twist tie the last link of the old chain to the first link of the new one... then pull.

See, what you actually do is fit the "muffensprocket" thru the "rickensputter"
you then set the "frockterbickett" at 10-degrees from top dead center so as not to interfere with the "spotingurder". Then remove the "britterspits"
after the "gugenheims" then Rinse and Repeat...

your all set to ride!!!:D

August issue of Performance Bikes or Bike magazine (british mags) have a how-to on changing a chain, pics included. Also, both mags have write-ups on the SV...

I've just checked my chain again at lunch.............. and it's loosy goosy..........waaaayyyy..........

I've already adusted it about 6 weeks ago.

I think after today, I won't be able to ride her :horny: .........eee heee........... I said "ride her".................. until I get some new chains on.

I think it would be a bad idea to ajust the chain any further............. good chance it will snap.............

oii.........

How dose the rear sprocket look? are the teeth cupped? Do they have a nice symetrical groove?

If you've hammered the shit out of the chain you might want to replace sprockets also. A worn sprocket will eat that new chain for dinner.
