PM notification

hey, if I get a PM while I'm offline a message pops up notifying me that it's there message waiting when I first log in, I like that. But if I'm online when someone sends a message, that box doesn't pop up and I don't know that I have one until the notification comes by email.

Is there a way notification could pop up when moving around pages in the forums?

I have no idea how that PM pop-up notification thing works. Sorry. I just know that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I just keep an eye on that "welcome box" on the lower right corner.

For me, that notification does come up when I'm moving around pages... The other thing, if you're using something like hotmail, you can get MSN messenger and it'll warn you whenever a new message comes in...

I use Yahoo with Trillian so that's when I usually find out that I have a message waiting. I get too much spam on hotmail I can't stand using that account.

I've never had anything pop up telling me I have a new PM. Am I not special enough?:(
