it's the AfroCelts (formerly AfroCeltSoundSystem, or something like that) at the Santa Monica pier, 7:30pm to 9:30pm
it's a fun gig! and a great band!
oh, and they do this every thursday during the summer...check their website for more info if ya like

What a fun night! The music was great and the company FUN! Big Thanks to Sandie for getting a few of us together last night. Evil is such a nice shy boy, Cooker snorts when he laughs and Sandie is our ruler...lol:D Have fun in Vages baby!

ANOTHER FREE CONCERT, but this one is in Long Beach at the Marketplace (corner of PCH and 2nd Street). This Thursday, 7/17, 6:30pm to 8PM, the Louie Cruz Beltran Latin Jazz Orchestra (yeah yeah, i'm sure ya'll are big jazz fans). This group is HUGE and really good, fabulous percussion section, really good dancable music.
