Video: More Palomar action fun

Me and BluBallz up at Palomar. I didn't have a camera mount, so umm, we asked someone to stand on the side of the road to shoot the vid. :D

I heard that it costs something like $3k/day to operate those planes. Or, maybe it was the chopper. I don't remember. I guess they have to write quite a few tickets to keep that thing in the air. hehe

I think 2 or 3 people got written up that day. Me and BluBallz tried to warn as many people as we could on the way out. We warned like 20 bikers and I think they understood our tapping-on-the-head signal.

Yeah I'd bet it's pretty expensive to run a plane all day so they have to write a lot of tickets to pay for it. Which would mean there would have to be a lot of bikers up there . . . . . which is why I prefer Saturday's to Sunday's because they're quieter.

rb643: Oh yeah, I remember you. There was a CHP cruiser right near the corner where we were just waiting for people to blow by...but luckily he wasn't there for too long.

Kurt: Yeah, Saturdays are definitely better than Sundays. I generally try to be at the mountain by 8am and leave by 10. That's generally enough riding time for me...for Pally anyway.
