What would you do?

You should have had an option of picking: Lie in bed not knowing what to do with yourself like a junkie who just found out his dealer's been shot; slowly whither away and die.

You'll have to choose the "missing piece" answer and leave the details to the imagination.

So far, nobody seems to give a damn about their loved ones.

For some people, motorcycling IS quality time spent with a loved one. And for other people, thier loved ones might be just as much into motorcycling as they are.

Good point. I guess if some people didn't ride, it would mean they didn't care.

I think the key word here is "had" to quit. If it was a "had" to decision..lamenting the decision wouldn't help matters..I think?

Well, yeah lamenting isn't very productive, but Kurt said he'd wither away and die, so at least that's getting something done.

if i had to quit riding for some reason, i'd probably get into motorsports photography. i'm pickin' up my canon 350D and some nice glass will be added to the stable once i win the lottery but i think that's what i'd do if i couldn't ride anymore.

i already ski and cycle though less so now since i started riding a few yrs ago.
