did any one hear the new metallica cd? i heard that it sucked. let me know what ya think.

I borrowed the cd from a friend before buying it, and I'm glad I did cause I would never buy it now. I thought it was horrible.

I think everything that Meatallica made after the Black album sucks.

I agree. They had a few decent songs here and there, but mostly just a bunch of crap.

I actually like Load and Reload a lot. KROQ (an LA/OC station) played their whole album before it came out and I didn't like it and won't be buying it. I'm disappointed. But artists change.

Nope definately won't be listening to that c.d again, I gave it a fair chance and it failed miserably! Glad I borrowed a friends' first, saved my few bucks!

I haven't heard it because i was too lazy to download it. Someone I know said it was kinda hip-hop/rap-metal or something.

Yeah, that band "Meatallica" really sucks. I heard that one of the guys... maybe Kirk Hammet rode a motorcycle without proper safety gear. He was riding some sort of cruiser POS(lacking proper fortitude). Lars Ulrich yelled, "WTF are you doing riding without your full leathers on this residential street going 20 mph?!" Kirk replied, "I'm in a metal band... I'll do whatever I want!" As James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo witnessed Kirk flailing his arms, they came up with the idea for 'St. Anger', and the rest is history.

I am in the minority here, but I freakin' love St. Anger. Best stuff I've heard from ANYBODY in the last few years.

Listen to "Sweet Amber" , "Frantic" and "Dirty Window" again. Those are my three favs, but the whole thing is just amazing.

Solo's be damned, James is ragin' again and it's music to my ears.

Somebody put their new album on the network here at work. So I grabbed it. It's really not that good. Gonna have to give it a thumbsdown.
