I've actually always thought that practicing stoppies would improve your breaking skill...
Just like wheelies would improve your acceleration skills.
And of course both breaking and acceleration can be used for collision avoidance - but breaking is the preferred method of avoiding an accident 9 times out of 10 compared to accelerating.

If you try and open the top link in a new window you get a hefty black chick that tells you to "back your ass up..." and I don't know what else as I am at work and it was loud!
I can't believe that guy got up so fast as it looked like the bike went right over his head?

SERIOUSLY, nots video, he didnt ease it up, he just grabbed the front brake on a warm tire, hot rotor and steaming brakes and it just gripped and bucked him off... at least he didnt hurt anyone else

woooooooooo...jesus christ! i don't know what it is that makes it vid clip so funny but i just about crapped myself laughing. What a dumbass! sad thing is they had probably been planning the vid for days, finally got to the weekend, were all giddy on the way to the shoot, and then WHOMP! Classic. Too bad the bike had to take it on the chin. Being a doctor and all, i know this all sounds callous and insensitive but some times it's really hard not to laugh at shit like that. ...whew! my eyes are still watering.

That's what I'd call an endo, but we've had this discussion a few times...

This (plus one scare I had where I had a front-end slide) is why I don't do stoppies...
And Burst's experience is why I don't do wheelies...
Hopefully we don't have to see a heck of a lot more crashes on this board from cornering, because I don't want to quit that! :D
yea then you'll have to take up drag racing :D It looked like the guy got the bike while it was kinda hangin on the back wheel before it fell over or something. He's a :squid: but a good catch none the less

OK, this is a play on words right? Because I'm actually pretty damn good in breaking things. It's the "healing" part I need to work on.;)
