I drove both of these cars many times around Laguna Seca. 1999-2000. My lap times were 1:20? If I remember correctly. I did find them to be a little twitchy due to the mid engine design. Also a little underpowered. Once I got used to them I was able to shred.
Oh yea this was on Grand Turismo 2 Playstation 1. ha ha
Heheh.. almost had me going there. I heard that a Civic engine has more power than the Elise's.

Hey, don't underestimate the Honda Civic. My '99 EX stock engine puts out 120 hrp! (the same as a TLR):cool:

Elise is a beautiful car ... yesss. Not many beautiful SMALL cars around ... me rikie SMALL cars ... yessss.

Heheh.. almost had me going there. I heard that a Civic engine has more power than the Elise's.
The '02 Elise makes some where around 160bhp and weighs well under 1700lbs dry.
I have a thing for european sports cars that I can't afford and this one's at the top of the list. I do like the styling of the pre '00 model better.

My Civic Si has a sprightly 160 HP..it's great on freeways. ;) Handles amazingly well too heh.
