I agree about the headlights... I think I'm getting tired of Ducati's. hehe. I don't see the bike as being all that sexy. I was just happy to see a girl w/some physical substanance on a bike ... I think she's cute. (well, if you white asses don't like her, there's always the black asses that do (that seems to be the case with me)).

Probably, it would thin her ... make her legs look slimmer.

Part of it is the way the photo was taken. Her thighs are smashed against the bike, making them bulge out sideways, therefore making them look fat. I bet if she stood up she'd look a little better. She could also use a little color.

Her thighs are pretty fat to begin with and her legs aren't all that long. She just needs a different outfit really. That bike looks like ass. The old Ducatis are now classics with this horrid new design out there.:-&

(sigh .. i couldn't resist but give an opinionated statement of support .. i've been waiting and waiting for someone to say something positive ... it gets tiresome seeing how people will talk massive amounts of shit about things ... not applying reality to the situation at all)

I don't begrudge a girl a few pounds..in reality the face and personality are much more important to me, and of course, her being a non-smoker. I'm not all hung up on the body type...I tend to admire certain women's bodies but fall in love with women's minds...and that's the bleeding truth.

As for me....well women are pretty viciously anti-short dude...so I guess I can relate Leigh...they even did a study on this on Dateline or something where even if the shorter dude was intelligent and made some good cash, women generally prefer taller dudes.

Biases are sorta natural I guess...and I'd venture it's a heck of a lot easier to shed a few lbs. than to be taller but oh well....it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to...I think there was a dark time when I realized the truth of it all (women generally ignore you if shorter than them) and it was quite painful. Now, I sort of accept it and I guess I can't worry about what I can't change. Now if I *could* change it, I damn well would be trying to...

I HATED the new duc when I first saw it. Now its starting to grow on me. The side spoilers are kinda nifty. BUT, Masimo Tamburini [sp] designs the prettiest bikes: 916/748/99*, and MV Ag F4.

One of the Brit mags, T.W.O. I think, said "If this was coming from a Japanese Manufacturer, we'd be saying 'wow look at this', but since it's follwing the 998, we don't."

The ugly new Futura-rip-off VFR is a good example of this.

I am really sad to see one of the last stalwarts of separate, side by side headlights is no more. I think that just leaves Triumphs, Yam Rs and SVs.

Considering the people who hang around me like to be nice and say I'm not fat, and she's considerably smaller than me (probably wearing a size 8 at most) ... she's definately not fat ...

Like to say I'm not short, but dammit, I am. Women avoid me like the plague (well some do). Heh. That girl is not necessarily 'fat', but her legs seem out of proportion with the rest of her body. I wouldn't generally call her fat (the 999 chick). Again, I'd like to see her off the bike.

Fat is all over fat..like fat fingers, fat face, etc. Leigh you're not 'fat', you just have a different shape which many women have. I'd dare say it's a natural shape for you...it's unrealistic to expect most women to have 6 pack abs and weigh under 100, especially when they need the extra body fat (as woman naturally posess) for childbearing (if they choose to do so).

I'd still take a girl with a pretty face over an skinny but ugly girl any day.

I have a friend who is very "hippy". She has one of the prettiest faces I've ever seen, great voice, great smile, and thin upper body. She's just got a nice pair of "birthing" hips. I wouldn't call her fat by any means.

but one thing I've learned lately is that everyone has different tastes. I tend to like very athletic women: strong, fit, and usually a bit bigger because they carry more muscle... and they can usually kick my butt. :D But other guys I know only want those 80lb toothpicks who look like 12 yr old boys with long hair.

Not running for office hehe....but you know I think women are too hard on themselves. Women look like they do for a reason, it's attractive to the opposite sex and it tends to be good for having kids. I don't like skinny toothpicks or giant heifers...so you know I am quite forgiving of the womanly 'shape'. Of course a woman's face is super important to me and what's going on in her head. A total hottie who is a raging Fundy and hates motorcycles and synthpop would not be at the top of my list. :p
