Actually, I prefer square knots, or four in hand knots, slip knots arent as reliable or strong:groove:

No, I wouldn't call it snobbery. (If that's even a word. I suppose it is) It's more of a general distaste of all things commercially "rock-afied", encouraged by several years working in various studios next to people responsible for actual music, rather than circus music like Slipknot.

Yeah, I think the costumes are a little gay, (Slipknot, not GWAR,) but I liked it when they referred to themselves as numbers.

And as far as really anger music goes, they are PFC.
