Hey everybody. Ian here. Thought I should say hello and introduce myself. I've just been lurking, checking out the board for the last month or so, then I followed over to the new site, and decided it was time to sign up and join the fray.
I love the new board, and the whole idea of this local SV community in general. How cool is that?
Anyway, about me, I ride a 2001 naked SV, with a red tail with matching red rear seat, and a blue tank (with white stars coming soon). The capt. america theme is kind of a patriotic 9/11-inspired project that I've never quite finished. But that's what's fun about owning a bike, right? You're never done monkeying with it.
I come straight outta Los Feliz, which is adjacent to Griffith Park, just east of Hollywood and west of Glendale for those who don't know. Hope to meet you guys on rideouts to the Crest, the Rock Store, and anywhere else the riding is good.
God loves a v-twin. :)

A few things to beware of while on this site:
Hold on to your wallet. Contrary to what anybody may say, there are no dues or fees to subscribe here.
Hold on to your sister. If you let her in here there's no telling what may happen. ;)
Hold on to your bike. Unfortunately, people who go to events sponsored by this board & leave their bikes unattended while there usually drive away with new jets, a pipe, or new forks.
Go Capt. America!

Hey, thanks very much for the generous welcome, and the helpful warnings. I do have a sister, thanks for asking, but she's happily married. Sorry.
Is there an active list of available sisters being kept somewhere? I'd like to check it out myself. ;)

Lets have a sister party................ woo hoo.
Everyone must bring at least one sister.
Except for me....... of course. Because the whole purpose of this party is for me to get to know your sister.
Duh.........
And..... and.... and.... it doesn't matter if they're married or gay.
Rod no care!

My sister had a wooden leg...does that mean she's out?
So how come they call you "Rod" anyway? (I bet all the girls ask you that.)
