The crappy part was when the offender packed up his bike and left without even checking to see if the other guy was alright.

This sucks! But, I must say that the fellow filming did change his line dramatically. I mean, its a straight and he veers right pretty quickly..

It's the overtaking persons responsibility to make sure he can complete the pass.
He does in fact complete the pass but then seems cut off and just stall right in front of the camera bike. If I was the guy on the camera bike I would have had had words with that rider. And then gone to the organizers to have him banned for the rest of the day.
I will be riding at Jennings next month.

Certainly looked like the guy filming was on the normal line, though. Why in the world was the guy on the right moving to the LEFT for the turn coming up? IF you look at other people in front, he should be farther right. Like it was said, it's the responsibility of the passer to make a safe pass, no matter how funky a line the passee has.

Yep, agreed! I still don't have the cojones to pass as much as I would like because I'm not sure what the pasee will do.

Passing? That's when other people go by me really fast, right?

Yea, in an off topic, but realated still scene.
I remember last time I went skiing, the punk kids that were doing ski patrol would bomb down the the mountain yelling at skiers to "look up for faster traffic" or something stupid like that.
I was just wishin one of those morons would've ran into me when he was trying to pulling that shit off.

hi gang, i spent my life passing people, the bottom line is you need to finish your pass, you still have to respect the person your passing, you can also take yourself out by not finishing the pass. it reminds me of out riding my harley, yea i do harleys to! going up toward valley center or casino area, sport bike passed me, hit my front wheel and almost sent me to the pavement, as i rode farther pissed off i stopped at a gas/store, low and be hold here was the asshole fueling up, pulled up, got off my harley, walked over and socked him, he went down, his buddy was shaking, pushed is bike over , remounted threw my buss. card at him on the ground and told him to sue me! rode off, never heard any thing from this guy, i know he will always finish the pass safely for the fear of getting his ass kicked. its just plain respect for the life of others! i am not a mean person but i can have a charles bronson feeling when i been wronged. i sure hope it was not one of you guys? i think it was a honda f1 or something, if it was a harley i would have done the same thing!!
