Fork(s) off!!!!

My bike is hanging from the rafters right now without forks! They are upside down in an oil container draining. I finally had to do this because I must have a bad damper rod gasket, and it was slowly leaking...tomorrow morning I'll walk the forks over to my dealer and have them remove the damping rods...I'll replace the gaskets and then install Racetech emulators (might as well since the forks are apart anyway!). Cut the spacers and put it all back together...

None of the forks that were done at my house got new damping rod gaskets...I'm wondering if anyone else has had any leakage from their forks?

It would stand to reason that if you aer going into the guts you might as well spring, (no pun intended), for the little stuff like gaskets, seals and dust seals.
