Nut-job quits his job, moves to the Isle of Man so he can compete in the TT... it's getting good reviews as a documentary. I have the DVD on order.

I have the April 2003 Motorcyclist mag. It was a good read. I somehow glossed over the fact that he quit his job and all to do the race. wow! Thats dedication I can respect!
I will definitely own a dvd copy of this. ASAP!

That's cool. I was'nt aware of it being on DVD already. I guess he has to make money somehow since he quit his job and all.
Oh, and I was watching some on board action at the Isle of Man, and MAN that is some scary shit. Their doin crazy speeds with walls and building and trees just feet away.

I watched the movie last night... very cool. The documentary part is interesting, and the DVD has a bonus track which is a full 25 minute onboard lap. That alone is worth it. A good addition to the DVD collection of any motorcycle enthusiast, for those nights where you just can't scratch the bike itch any other way. :)

Sounds cool, will have to check it out, where'd you get it from?
I saw a copy of the 2002 TT at the island, the DVD has a full on board lap with David Jefferies (now sadly departed this year in TT practice). From a standing start in practice he makes an 18-19 minute lap with an average speed of 127mph!! Its awesome and I'd definitely recommend it. The guys that race there are a different breed.

I bought it direct from the website... yeah his lap times aren't quite up to world class, in fact he finished second/third to last in both races he entered. It's still worth a look though.
