I'm sure the book is good. I doubt the movie will be. Paul Walker is in it. That says enough.

Shitty movie and shitty lines, (Three in a row) do not mean a shitty actor.
Keanu Reeves can act when he has decent material.
I have hope for Mr. Walker
hmm..of all the crichton books i've read, this is the one that had the most trouble keeping my attention. the others i couldn't put down.
maybe i'm not to the good parts of the book yet?

Saw it -
Popcorn tasted OK, Hotdog wasn't too bad. Coke made me have to get up to pee.
Oh the movie?? I almost forgot... Yawwwnnn... totally predictable.
I think it would have been worse if I had read the book.
The trailers made it look much better than it turned out to be.

From looking at the previews the movie looks horrible.

Hey, at least if wasnt a total waste !! :D
After reading the book, even the previews look bad. They seem to have changed a LOT of things. The prfessor is not anyone's dad in the book. Also, the book mentions "3D faxing" maybe once or twice... I guess it's going to be a pathetic movie :-&, but now that I have read the book, I must go and see it....

Hey by all means, go see it.
I went on a spur of the moment thing in the first week. It's intellectual junk food - Twinkies for the brain.
I eat my share of junk food, and see my share of sh!t movies - I just don't admit it too often and it's not a steady diet.
Next for me it's gotta be Bad Santa! Then I can call up and tell Mom that I am seeing a good Christmas movie and change the subject before she asks too many questions.
