31 and counting

That's pretty impressive that we have 31 members on this board! What I really like is that we have a nice variety of posters too. I think some of us tend to be board hogs (not naming names), so it's a real treat to see the others chime in from time to time.

How would you all feel about having a rally with the NorCal group at some point? They seem to be a pretty friendly bunch and it would kick ass to have 60+ SV's in one area! :D

The Norcal group is a *very* friendly bunch... Great group of folks... I'm down for a rally with them... I know some of them have been talking for a while about having a trip to come down and ride Hwy 58 (between San Luis Obispo and Buttonwillow), camp out in Buttonwillow for the night, and head back the same way. We could head up 101 (or find a more fun route ;) ) to SLO, and ride that stretch, and then head back the same way or just head south on the 5 over the grapevine (NO FUN!!!)...

Otherwise, I know some of them do want to come this way for some rides (like Angeles Crest), or I'd be willing to head up there for a weekend, and I know plenty of people with places to stay...

PS - But if we go up there, we either need a might twisty route, or a trailer. I don't want a 1,000 mile highway trip to square off my tires.

60? Wow. I think some of the groups rides going to the Gatherings II and III almost numbered that many.

I remember when I first found this board. I was looking for something other than SVrider.com and that other .org one. SVrider didn't have the message board at the time and it wasn't very easy to browse the threads.
I was happy to find this site but thought it wouldn't survive because there weren't many members resulting in few threads.

I had already crashed twice when I found this board. I have managed to somehow miss every gathering so far.
