WTF was this guy thinking? Had he died in the crash, he could have received the Darwin Award of the year........

What is so incredible is not that he Armor-All'd his tires and then went out driving in the rain (yes, this is really dumb), but then he gets on the board and starts acting like this hardass, threatening to beat up people who tell him he was a moron, and he claims the tires were defective.

I guess that it all comes down to personal responsibility..This guy was both an absolute moron, and he doesn't want to take the blame for what happened.

Probably because his insurance company won't pay the claim if they find out he put Armor All on the tread of the tires......

Last year at a Bike night in Virginia I saw a 929 with Armor All on the tires. He didn't intentionaly put it on the treads but there was some over spray. There was a group on 5 or 6 of us marveling at the stupidity when the owner pipes up from the background "Cut me a break, I only live like 2 miles away." Didn't see his name in the paper the next day so I guess he got home.

It is stupid to put armor all on your tires ... even the side walls, I mean ... are astetics more important than safety. But at the same time, the guys on that forum were being total dicks ... it's obvious this guy was lacking in brain cells, they should have treated him like they would treat a girl ... like a simpleton but offer guidance.

That is generally a good policy for dealing with the lesser sex. :* This guy is lacking in the things that may motivate others to treat him like a woman.
