I seems really fishy, but the odds of any combination coming up in this case are only 1 in 1000. For you non math oriented folks, each ball is numbered 0-9 for 10 possibilities. 3 balls means the odds of any combination of number coming up are 1 in 10 to the 3rd power or 1 in 1000.

Not great odds, but not the ridiculous odds of a pick-6 either.
