This should be the 2nd time that an SV has been on a television show, that I'm aware of, the first time being a yellow canadian SVS on Smallville season 2, ep 14.

It'll be the show 24, either ep 23(18-May) or 24(25-May). There will be a parking lot, and a police cruiser will drive by. You will see a silver 2nd gen SVS with a rider in a black leather suit, who will dismount, remove helmet, and walk away, before Jack (Kiefer) drives by in his black Excursion. That rider....is me.

I'm an actor of sorts, and I do a lot of background work on TV shows, worked on 24 for the whole last week and showed up early today on Suzi as they were setting up the parking lot shot. The director flagged me down and had me park up front so he could feature my bike. Egads, it was way too hot out there to be wearing leather in a parking lot, lemme tell ya.

Let me know if you see the ep. I work late a lot, so I don't usually get to watch the show until I download it a few days later.

Did you get a bump for them using your bike as a prop? If not don't give it away next time.

yeah, a whole 15 bucks, heh. Nothing big, but at least it'll fill the tank a few times.

Wish I could've gotten something for all the sweating I did in my leathers, though. Speaking of which, who's good to go to in the LA/OC area to get some leathers dry-cleaned?

Well, it looks like either they cut the parking lot shot, or it might be a part of next episode. I'm hoping for next episode.

In happier news, I got metric buttloads of screen time. Man, I wish I didn't have the worst helmet-hair ever in those scenes.

If by "looking to do some work as an extra", you mean "currently working full-time as an extra", then yes. :P

It's a living.

Sort of.

Anyway, it's possible the bit with me and the SV might end up in tonight's episode. Keep an eye out if you see a parking lot.

Looks like it didn't happen. I was escorting Tony out of CTU though, when the screen was split in four. I guess Suzi didn't make the cut.

Next Time.

At least your bike isn't Black, Red or White. DPs hate those colors.
So what do I own? A RED SVS and a Black ZX-12R :p (Thinking about getting a White GoldWing next :groove: )

Yeah, my car is red so it never gets used. Not like I ever drive it anymore, now that I have the SV. Do you usually ride to the set? Seems like we've probably worked together without knowing it, considering I've been doing this full-time for 8 months or so.

Time runs out for some '24' actors
Several CTU members may not be back
Monday, May 24, 2004 Posted: 8:51 AM EDT (1251 GMT)

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- "24's" Counter Terrorism Unit will undergo some major downsizing this fall.

Sources said that the actors who play Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) CTU colleagues on the Fox drama have been informed that their options as series regulars will not be picked up for next season.

Reiko Aylesworth and James Badge Dale, who play CTU members Michelle Dessler and Chase Edmunds, respectively, received the news just as they were to attend the Fox party after the network's upfront presentation to advertisers last Thursday, sources said.

The two, as well as Carlos Bernard (aka CTU's Tony Almeida), could return to the real-time drama next season for guest appearances.

Also up in the air is the "24" future of Mary Lynn Rajskub, Zachary Quinto and Daniel Dae Kim, who played CTU members on a recurring basis.

Meanwhile, Elisha Cuthbert, who plays Jack's daughter and CTU analyst Kimberly Bauer, is fielding film offers and is expected to recur next season subject to her availability. She was most recently in theaters playing a former porn star in "The Girl Next Door."

I almost always ride to set. Though now that I'm starting to audition for stuff I find people are prejudiced against you if you show up in any kind of riding gear. So I found a thift shop sport coat that I can stuff into my tank bag.

My "career" started on Torque. (If you go frame-by-frame on the DVD player when the main characters are in the tent at the rally I appear over the guys' shoulder on one of the cuts - big wow I know - then I wander out of the crowd at a later shot on the street.) I did 3 days on Biker Boys, which got cut, then got a bunch of days on Last Samurai.

I worked on the "Streets of Tokyo" bits of the movie.

When I watched it in the theater I think I saw myself in the corner of one shot.... :(

I was the tallest (non-white)person in the crowd and had on a big backpack and a long staff.

TV has been better for me in terms of being visable. I got to wander around in the background of the '03 season ender of Friends for ages.

Is that the ancient Japanese predecessor to "Streets of Willow"?
