Gathering IV Locations

I want to get your opinions while your memories are fresh. Where would you like next year's Gathering to be? Baisically I want to know if we should keep it at San Gorgonio, or should we move it somewhere for a fresh look?

I think we should keep it at San Gorgonio for at least one more year because that location seemed to work very well. The park gets very little use as you all saw and there is more than enough room for all of us. Maybe next year we can sneak a radio in with us for some background noise (mood music).

Although things went well, and it was good overall, I kinda liked some of the features of the Temecula Gathering better... Specifically, the background music (so I could pretend I was just listening to the groovin' music when I wasn't talking to anyone) and the proximity of the bikes to the people in Temecula we could see the bikes and the people looking at the bikes from the grass, not so in San Clemente...

Anywho, just my thoughts... Oh, and maybe a little closer to Santa Barbara next time :P j/k

I would really only request 2 things that weren't there.

1. Music
2. Dunk Tank!!!!

I would have liked to have had the grills in closer proximity to each other as well...my grill was like a lone island..I hardly got to talk to anybody..it kinda sucked..

I really thought this was a really good location.

Close to the ocean so it didn't get too hot.
Pretty central location.
Plenty of space to park and play.

I don't think music was really lacking... we're there to socialize.. not dance. It's a bit hard to carry on a conversation when you have techno blasting next to your head. That's what the post-gathering parties are for... getting drunk, naked and dancing...:D
